Unlock Your Inner Artist - Here's How to Get Started with Diamond Painting!

Hey everyone! Have you heard of diamond painting? It's the latest crafting trend that everyone is talking about and it's so much fun! If you're looking for a creative way to relax and unwind, then diamond painting is the perfect activity for you. Here's our step-by-step guide on how to do diamond painting.

First, you'll need to gather all the materials for your diamond painting project. If you have a diamond painting kit; all of the materials should come with it so that you are ready to actually start the project. However, you should still check your kit to make sure that everything is there. Once you have all your materials, you can start preparing your canvas.

Materials

Picture -so that you know what you are creating.

Color Coated Canvas -to place the diamond drills on.

Diamond Drill Pen -used to pick up and place the diamond drills on the canvas.

Diamond Drills -comes in different separate bags; each separate bag is labeled with a number that corresponds to the number on the canvas.

Tweezers - used in case you make a mistake and have to pull the diamond drill back off.

Wax - used to fill the tip of the diamond pen.

Drill Container -used to place the diamond drills on .

Procedure

1.Roll your canvas open and flatten it out with your hands. (If you need to flatten your canvas out more; put it under some heavy books and leave it overnight).

2. Take your diamond drill pen and dip it into the wax so that the pen is full of wax at the tip.

3.Gently peel back a small portion of the plastic on the canvas. (If you are right handed then it is suggested that you start on the left side of the canvas; and if you are left handed then it is suggested that you start on the right side of the canvas). Continue to peel back small portions of the plastic on the canvas as you keep working. Also, keep your canvas covered when you are not working on it)

4.Lay your diamond drills in the drill container and gently shake the drill container back and forth so that the faceted side of the diamond drills will be facing up so that they are easy to grab and placed on the canvas.

Notice on the colorful canvas that there are numbers, colors, and symbols that correspond to the numbers, colors, and symbols of the diamond drills. Match the number, color, symbol of the diamond drills to the number, color, and symbol on the canvas.

5.Next, add your diamonds to the canvas. This is where the fun comes in! Take your diamond drill pen that you have filled with wax and place it on one of the diamond drills in the diamond drill tray. Then place the diamond drill onto the canvas with the corresponding color that is on the colorful canvas. It's important to place the diamonds in the right order to create the desired pattern.

6.Keep repeating this final step until you have finished placing all of your diamond drills on the canvas. Once you've added all your diamonds to the canvas, it's time to take a step back and admire your work of art! Feel free to add some extra details to your diamond painting with paints, markers, or other decorations.
