………This is my third purchase of this brand over the years. The best thing to do is:
1. Screw the base of the sifter in the slot in the bottom of the pan & go over the screws with silicone so no litter will leak. The base WILL come lose & YUK!
2. I recommend silicone adhesive to go over ALL the seals BEFORE putting the top on the bottom. Put the top on the bottom, fasten the latches & let the silicone set overnight. This is necessary because the (R) side of the box has NEVER had a latch on it & you have to roll the box on that side in order to sift the 'doolie' out of the litter. Eventually litter will leach out that crack. If you don't silicone the box before you've used it, it is almost impossible to get a good seal because of litter granules getting in the silicone……….-Amazon Review By Kathryn P.

I don’t ever want to go back to doing litter boxes another way. I know the rule of thumb is two cats need three boxes, but our two do great with just this one. I never scoop anymore. We get text alerts telling us when the thing has cycled and how full the tray is and when it needs cleaned. The bags that are in the tray are big enough you can get plenty of clearance where you don’t accidentally touch the poop. People can’t smell our cat box when they come over. There have been two times over the 3 Months we have had it that it has had to be manually re-started and I hope this isn’t a sign it’s starting to wear down considering we haven’t even paid it off. But it’s been phenomenal. Highly recommend. I do hate taking it fully apart and wiping it down. Occasionally getting some urine that leaks behind it and occasionally needing to take it apart and scrub it down. But I never scoop anymore. I change the bag about twice a week for two cats.
