….This stuff clumps super hard.. esp if you give it time to "cure" before scooping (so it doesn't fall apart). And since it's lightweight, it doesn't almost bend the scoop in half backwards as you're trying to sift thru the stuff in the box.
The biggest thing is the smell. Obv, yes it stinks when they first drop a bomb in it, but you can't smell any trace of litter box when you walk in our house or even in the rooms that the boxes are in either (we scoop every day tho). The other litter smells so bad after a few days of using it (no matter how often we scoop. It smells like garbage and throw up even when it's clean), but this stuff doesn't smell bad at all after almost 2 weeks of using it. I just add more as needed to keep enough in the litter box and we're good to go.
It's not super dusty either, but def not dust free.. it does follow them out of the litter box a little more but it's a small price to pay for everything else. I used this product for several years when I had my previous cat who lived to 19. When he passed away, I continued using it when I got two kittens. I've tried so many different brands and methods over the decades I've had cats. This stuff is incredible. Get this, you don't have to do a full box dump, ever! I used to buy Tofu Kitty, which was a subscription-based tofu litter service. It was amazing but sadly the product is no longer on the market.
