I have always wanted a cat carrier to use instead of the cardboard boxes they give at the VET. I took the time to introduce my kitten to the carrier 1 week before her spay operation. Everyday I would bring it out at the same time and put it in front of her.
She would smell it for a few minutes and then jump right in it. She would usually sit in it for 10-15 minutes or sometimes take a nap. On the day of the operation I put it down; she jumped in; and off we went!
