How Do You Brush A Cat's Teeth Using Cat Toothpaste?

The First Thing You Should Do:

Always try to choose the right time to brush your cat’s teeth. You'll want to brush your cat's teeth when they're calm and relaxed. Doing it in the morning before they've had a chance to eat or drink is often a good time, as they won't be as hungry and won't have anything in their stomachs that could come back up while you're brushing.

The Second Thing To Do:

When you have decided when you will brush your cat’s teeth, start getting everything ready ahead of time. Gather all of the supplies you'll need—toothbrush, toothpaste, water—and place them within easy reach so you won't have to juggle everything while trying to keep your cat calm. It's also a good idea to put a towel on the floor in case your cat decides to make a break for it!

Then gently lift your cat's lip and start brushing in a circular motion. Be sure to go slow at first and use gentle pressure; you don't want to hurt them or frighten them off before you've even gotten started!
