I’ve tried so many different products to neutralize the smell of cat urine and feces. Nothing has worked well. I love this system. The urine streams down through the pellets onto the pad that I change weekly. I scoop the cat scat (the pellets dehydrate it) and immediately flush it down the toilet. I only have one cat, so I only have it on automatic order every two months. You get eight piddle pads and 7 pounds of pellets with each refill. The pellets start to smell around four weeks and it is very easy to change them out. I end up spending far less on cat litter and deodorizers. The pellets do get scattered a bit on the floor by the cat, but it is far better than kitty litter that gets tracked everywhere. It also isn’t pleasant to step on a pellet with your bare feet, but Legos are far worse. I’ve had our system for 3-4 months and it is incredibly convenient, there is no odor if taken care of properly, and my cat didn’t have any issues changing over from kitty litter to pellets.
